Finished a paper! Here’s some Buri/Thayet to celebrate.
(This is how I always pictured Thayet.)
I keep seeing references made by people I had no idea were fans, okay, so I’m quite curious now.

I usually reach a point where everything I draw looks like garbage and nothing is right, as evidenced here by how miserably I’ve failed to break outside the facial shapes I usually use. Art block. So pissed.
So here’s some drawings from Tamora Pierce’s Immortals quartet. They were the first novels I ever read and I’ve stolen heavily from them, haha. Including the name Numair. I was ten, ok.
Speaking of which, he’s not white. People continue to draw him white (what little fanart there is for this series) but given that he’s described as being dark-skinned and the fact that Numair is an Arabic name, I’m pretty sure he’s not white. People.
…this was dumb. Gotta go level up now.
I love this!

purple eye by Lee251073 on Flickr.
Alexandria’s Genesis, a.k.a violet eyes (a genetic mutation).
When someone is born with Alexandria’s Genesis, their eyes are blue or gray at birth. After six months, the eyes begin to change from their original color to purple, and this process lasts six months. During puberty, the color deepens to dark purple, a deep purple, a royal purple, or a violet-blue color and remains that way. It does not affect the person’s eyesight.
Those who have this mutation will never grow any facial, body, pubic, or anal hair (not including hair on their head, on their ears, noses, eyebrows and eyelashes) Women also do not menstruate, but are fertile.basically you are a god
seriously though.
What the actual fuck.
UGH…….
WHY
WHY DO I NOT HAVE THIS
Isn’t this a type of albinism? But also Women also do not menstruate, but are fertile. Oh my…I would kill for that XD

I forgot to add the period at the end of Neal’s post. That annoys the OCD person in me, but I was too lazy to go back and re-do the whole thing.
